With another busy year ahead, Blackburn recently made some key hires to better serve our clients.
Donald Blackburn, MBA, Business Manager
Although Donald’s been around the company since it’s founding, he officially joined the team this year in a management position. Over the last few years, Donald worked as a process engineer in the food and beverage industry while obtaining his MBA from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Donald’s knowledge of processes helps him oversee Blackburn Consulting’s day-to-day administrative operations.
Jennifer Winstead, Marketing Coordinator
Jennifer joined Blackburn Consulting as our newest Marketing Coordinator. Jennifer has almost ten years of marketing experience and has worked in the geotechnical industry since 2016. In addition to supporting the marketing department, Jennifer will assist with contract processing.
Jack Tjornhom, Administrative Intern
Jack works at Blackburn’s headquarters as an Administrative Intern. Jack started pursuit of a financial accounting degree at Sierra College and will attend Sac State this fall to finish his degree.
Johnny Hernandez, Materials Tester/Construction Inspector
With over 5 years of quality assurance and quality control experience, Johnny joined the Blackburn team as a materials tester/inspector. His experience includes transportation projects throughout California, many of which are Caltrans projects.
Jesse Gomez, Materials Tester/Construction Inspector
Jesse began his career performing HMA mix designs and daily production testing, and later moved into quality control/quality assurance materials testing. He brings experience with a variety of Caltrans Districts and project types.
Arthur Mills, Materials Tester/Construction Inspector
Arthur also joined Blackburn this year as a materials tester/construction inspector. He’s worked on many transportation projects throughout the state and has strong Caltrans experience.
