Last weekend, Blackburn sent two teams to compete in the Great American Triathlon®, the Sacramento region’s premier summertime outdoor sporting event set on the stunning American River Parkway in Rancho Cordova, California. Following the same course as the final Eppie’s The Great Race®, The Great American Triathlon® included a 5.82-mile run, a 12.5-mile bike and a 6.10-mile paddle.

The Blackburn Beasts (Tom Blackburn, Rob Pickard, and Kelly Rasch) beat the Blackburn Beauties (Lisa Ishizaki, Sherry Keyes, and Grace Blackburn) by a total of 3 minutes!
